My Story
My clinical journey began nearly a decade ago working with cancer survivors, including pediatric cancer survivors and their families. Supporting individuals through life-altering diagnoses and recovery shaped my understanding of resilience, grief, trauma, and the strength of family systems.
From there, I transitioned to the St.Vincent Stress Center, where I worked primarily with high-acuity adolescents in PHP (Partial Hospitalization) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient) programs, as well as with the Youth Inpatient Unit Team. That experience deepened my skills in crisis stabilization, trauma-informed care, and working with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
I currently serve as a therapist at the Carmel Wellness Center, supporting Carmel public school employees and their families. Working within a school-connected community has given me firsthand insight into the pressures educators, parents, and students face today.
Personal Insight, Professional Experience
I’m also a mom to three sons—two in their 20s and a current high schooler. I understand what high school feels like, not just for students, but for parents navigating academics, social pressures, mental health concerns, and the ever-changing teenage landscape. That lived experience deeply informs my work and helps me connect with families in a practical, compassionate way.
In addition to working with teens and families, I specialize in supporting adults in midlife and women experiencing peri/menopause. Many of these clients are parenting adolescents and young adults, which often creates overlap between identity shifts, hormonal changes, family transitions, and evolving roles. I love helping parents and women navigate this stage with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
